Conveyor Operation, Maintenance and Troubleshooting (FKI Logistex Products)

This training course is designed to provide an understanding of the operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of former FKI Logistex material handling equipment, including component identification and replacement. This course does not include electrical or controls maintenance.

Event Details: 

The training course consists of approximately 50% classroom and 50% hands-on demonstration at the conveyor. This combination of classroom and hands-on training will provide each participant with the ability to:

  • Demonstrate a basic knowledge of safe operation and maintenance of conveyor systems
  • Identify the basic function and operation of each conveyor
  • Identify the primary components of each conveyor
  • Demonstrate proper maintenance procedures for given components
  • Demonstrate a basic knowledge of preventive maintenance tasks and intervals
  • Demonstrate a basic knowledge of given troubleshooting guidelines
  • Understand all services available through Intelligrated Customer Service & Support including 24X7 technical support, Dashboard™, Knowledgebase™, OnTimeParts™ and warranty procedures

This three-day class includes operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for the following conveyors:

  • Gravity Conveyor
  • Belt Conveyor
  • Brake/Meter Belt Conveyor
  • Servo-Vector Belt Conveyor
  • High-Speed Skew Conveyor
  • Accuglide Accumulation Conveyor
  • IntellSort® WD Pop-Up Wheel Divert
  • UniSort® IV Pop-Up Wheel Divert
  • Accuzone® Motor Driven Roller Conveyor
  • UniSort VII, X and XV Sliding Shoe Sorters

Class hours are 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM each day. Training course fees include tuition, training materials, lunch and refreshment breaks. Any applicable local, state or federal taxes are not included.

Course Certification: Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate.

Prerequisites/Audience: Maintenance personnel with mechanical or industrial experience, including lead maintenance personnel and supervisors.
